On 29 June students of the Community Service Club went to meet the mayor of Tokha Municipality, Prakash Adhikari, for an interaction session. The students requested the Mayor to guide them in contributing positively to the community, as students. Mr. Adhikari urged our students to support students at the community schools that often lack proper mentorship and guidance. He reiterated that it would be extremely helpful if students of Triyog could organize presentation sessions on prevailing social evils such as drug abuse and alcoholism. The students reiterated that the School is always interested in being a focal point for any donation drive or charity activity. Mr. Adhikari talked about the “Mayor Ujyalo” program. This interaction session was very helpful for both parties to gain insights into future areas of collaboration.
